Quick Start

Use your Mortocan Charcoal Bag to help absorb odours and excess moisture in small enclosed spaces.
Recharge the bag once a month in direct sunlight for about 1 hour.
Use the Mortocan Signature Oil separately to add atmosphere.
Do not apply the oil inside the Mortocan Charcoal Bag or directly on the charcoal.

1. Charcoal Bag Care & Use

Your Mortocan Charcoal Bag helps absorb odours and excess moisture. It works silently, with no added chemicals or synthetic fragrances.

Closets, wardrobes, shoe cabinets, gym bags, bedrooms, small rooms, cars, offices, storage boxes, suitcases, and pet areas.

Place or hang the bag in the space you want to freshen. One bag is ideal for a small enclosed area.

Once a month, place the bag in direct sunlight for about 1 hour. Sunlight helps refresh the charcoal and support its performance.
If direct sunlight is unavailable due to heavy clouds, place the bag near a bright window or in a dry, well-ventilated area.
Avoid placing the bag near open flame, direct heat, or on surfaces that may be damaged by warmth or moisture.
After recharging, return it to its place and let it continue absorbing odours and moisture.

Enjoy up to 2 years of use with regular monthly recharging. At the end of its life, the charcoal may be mixed into garden soil where appropriate.

2. Mortocan Signature Oil - Our Gift, Your Atmosphere

The dark glass bottle, with its real bamboo base and cap, protects your oil while reflecting Mortocan’s commitment to nature and craftsmanship.

This bottle is our gift to you. It does not go inside the charcoal bag. Use it separately wherever you want to add the Mortocan atmosphere.

Artificial flowers: apply 1 to 2 drops on faux petals to create a refined scent accent.
Decorative stones, ceramic pieces, or wood accessories: apply a few drops on a suitable porous décor item to scent a shelf, table, or corner.
Cotton pad or card: apply 2 to 3 drops on a cotton pad or thick card, then place it in closets, drawers, shoe boxes, suitcases, or gym bags.
Car: apply 1 to 2 drops on a vent clip pad or on a hidden cotton ball under a seat or in a door pocket.
Diffuser: apply 3 to 5 drops in a water-based diffuser to scent a room.

Important: Essential oils may stain or damage some materials. Use only on suitable items and test on a small hidden area first.

3. Important Notes

Do not apply the oil inside the Mortocan Charcoal Bag or directly on the charcoal.
Keep the charcoal bag fragrance-free so it can focus on absorbing odours and moisture.
Use the oil only on separate items, such as décor, cotton pads, stones, cards, or in a diffuser.
Do not apply oil to delicate, polished, painted, plastic, or fabric surfaces unless you accept the risk of staining or damage.

4. Safety Warning

For external aromatic use only.
Do not ingest.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Keep away from open flame and direct heat sources.
In case of ingestion, irritation, or adverse reaction, seek medical attention immediately.
